Overview
PepsiCo has embarked on an ambitious global program to transform and re-tool our marketing capabilities, enabled and fueled by new to world brand, content and innovation insight tools/ capabilities. Total Connections Planning is a critical agenda within this new global marketing capability framework.
An exciting role that blends the art and science of marketing communicating with real impact across brand touchpoints. Overall purpose is to increase the performance of our advertising & marketing investments across snack portfolio, as well as establish a more creative and end-to-end approach to media and content.
We are looking for someone who is forward-thinking, able to blend strong media expertise with local consumer and culture understanding. The role covers Snacks brands out of the Pepsico portfolio. It reports into the Media & Total Connections Planning Director, Easter Europe and is well embedded in the marketing team. This role is a key partner to the EE CMO for Snack category.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own multi-year integrated Total Connections Planning strategies at brand and campaign level for the PL Snacks portfolio, ensuring alignment with business, brand and category growth objectives.
- Act as the strategic partner to the CMO and Brand Teams, defining communication strategies, key media objectives, success metrics and investment priorities across the portfolio.
- Own category media investment strategy and governance, including media budget allocation, media sufficiency frameworks, effectiveness programs and media ROI agenda in partnership with the PepsiCo Global Center of Excellence.
- Shape the future of brand communications by identifying consumer, cultural and media trends, bringing external insights into the organization and translating emerging opportunities into actionable brand and media strategies.
- Champion the PepsiCo Total Connections Planning mindset, frameworks and best practices, driving holistic and integrated communication planning across the organization.
- Lead the personalization at scale agenda, guiding brand teams to deliver the right message through the right channel at the right time while driving associated transformation and capability-building initiatives.
- Partner with the PepsiCo Global Center of Excellence and international teams to identify, adopt and scale global media best practices, innovative technologies, in-store media solutions and cross-market learnings.
- Build strategic partnerships with key media platforms, publishers and industry partners, unlocking innovation, added value and scaled opportunities across the Total Connections ecosystem.
- Drive organizational capability and thought leadership, sharing best practices, learnings and innovations across categories and the wider Europe organization.
- Establish and evolve media measurement and effectiveness frameworks in partnership with Digital Marketing and
- Consumer Insights teams, including scorecards, ROI methodologies, equity measurement and performance benchmarks.
- Lead integrated communication planning for major brand campaigns, collaborating with brand teams, agencies and partners to create end-to-end Total Connections plans and channel strategies.
- Leverage expertise across all media channels and emerging platforms to optimize communications against both short-term performance and long-term brand-building objectives.
- Oversee media planning for the PL Snacks portfolio, including flowcharts, campaign media plans and agency recommendations to ensure strategic alignment and executional excellence.
- Manage and govern media agency and in-house media buying partnerships, ensuring high-quality delivery, accountability and compliance with category objectives.
- Deliver media productivity and efficiency targets, combining PepsiCo methodologies with local initiatives and Global Center of Excellence programs.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have significant functional experience in leading a progressive media agenda, with deep mastery level experience in media insights, data & creative-led marketing strategies, media planning and optimization:
- Fluent in English.
- 8+ years of experience in media strategy, integrated communications planning, media operations, productivity, media planning and buying, and end-to-end digital transformation within marketing.
- Experience in a media agency and/or client-side organization, preferably within FMCG and working with large-scale brands.
- Strong expertise in integrated communications strategy, with a demonstrated ability to build brands through effective communication and media investment.
- Holistic knowledge of the media ecosystem across all touchpoints, including TV, Digital, Retail Media, Out-of-Home and emerging channels.
- Solid understanding of media planning and buying principles, media economics, and the evolving media landscape.
- Digital marketing expertise, including digital media optimization, marketing technology stacks, ad serving, ad verification, digital supply chain efficiency, cost management and media innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, identify growth opportunities, and drive business decisions.Proficiency in media, marketing, and analytics tools used for planning, measurement, optimization, and performance evaluation.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear executive-level recommendations, business cases, and presentations.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and effectively navigate matrix organizations to drive alignment and results through others.
- Strong track record of delivering business and media performance targets, demonstrating bias for action and ownership mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse internal and external audiences.
- High level of credibility, seniority, and business acumen to lead strategic conversations and drive brand category change.
- Entrepreneurial, agile, and adaptable mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
- Acts with integrity, resilience, and a positive mindset while building strong, collaborative relationships across functions, markets, agencies, and external partners.
- Experience working with the Polish market and brand marketing is considered an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected starting compensation range for this position is 278800,0 PLN annually (gross).
