Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Workflow Support in Arlington, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while following site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Verify identification, access credentials, and shipping or delivery documentation as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
