What You’ll Do

• Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories
• Collect and record patient vital signs and assessments
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
• Perform venipuncture and diagnostic sample collection
• Place IV catheters and assist with fluid therapy
• Prepare and support patients for treatments and procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures
• Maintain accurate anesthesia monitoring records
• Provide attentive patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and patient charts
• Document patient care, treatments, and relevant medical information accurately and promptly
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment and exam areas
• Follow established infection-control and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and other team members
• Help maintain an efficient daily hospital workflow
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and professional hospital culture

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary technical and patient-care skills
• Experience obtaining patient histories, vital signs, and assessments
• Experience with venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
• Experience monitoring anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate medical documentation
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Willingness to ask questions, learn, and continue developing professionally
• Desire to contribute to an efficient workflow and positive hospital culture
• A respectful, dependable, and supportive approach to your teammates
