Junior Legal Counsel/Paralegal/Company Secretarial

Application Deadline: 31 December 2026

Department: Central Cost

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Rathcoole

Description

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Paralegal/Company Secretary to join Enva’s in‑house legal team in Ireland. This role combines company secretarial support with broader legal and compliance assistance.

You will work closely with the Legal Team and senior stakeholders across the business to support board and committee governance, assist with corporate transactions, and provide day‑to‑day legal and administrative support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced company secretarial professional, paralegal or legal executive to take on a varied, hands‑on role in a growing, purpose‑driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Company secretarial & governance
  • Support board and committee governance for Enva Group companies.
  • Assist with the preparation, collation and distribution of board and committee packs.
  • Draft and maintain agendas, action logs and annual governance calendars.
  • Take minutes of board and committee meetings.
  • Liaise with our external company secretarial providers to maintain statutory registers and company records, ensuring timely filings with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) and Companies House.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of corporate governance policies and procedures.
Corporate administration & transactions
  • Prepare and coordinate routine corporate documentation (e.g. written resolutions, share transfers, director appointments/resignations, powers of attorney).
  • Assist with corporate projects, including group restructurings, acquisitions and disposals, collating KYC information and supporting due diligence processes.
  • Liaise with external company secretarial providers and law firms where required.
Legal support & contract administration
  • Provide paralegal support to the in‑house legal team, including initial review of NDAs and standard‑form contracts, and coordination of approvals and signatures.
  • Maintain contract registers and support the implementation of contract management processes and tools.
  • Assist with the drafting and updating of templates, playbooks and guidance notes.
Regulatory & compliance support
  • Help monitor and track key legal and regulatory obligations and deadlines (e.g. filings, licences, registrations).
  • Support the roll‑out of compliance policies, procedures and training (e.g. data protection, anti‑bribery, competition law) from an administrative and coordination perspective.
  • Assist with gathering information and documentation for regulatory enquiries, audits and investigations.
General legal team support
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative and organisational support to the Group Head of Legal and wider legal team.
  • Help improve legal and governance processes, systems and ways of working.
