The Senior Supply Planner owns the supply plan for an assigned brand and drives process architecture to support operational excellence in your category. You decide what gets bought, when, and in what quantity, working from the demand plan against real limits on MOQ, lead time, and vendor capacity. This is a high visibility role: you will be in acting as a player/coach, owning the end-to-end supply planning process for your assigned brand while coaching planners, standardizing processes, and influencing desired outcomes in the S&OP process.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Planning and is based in Irvine, CA.

As the Senior Supply Planner, you will have an opportunity to:

·         Develop and maintain short‑ and long‑term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets across product categories and brands

·         Collaborate with Demand Planning, Finance, Merchandising, Sourcing, Supply Operations, and Logistics to ensure timely production, delivery, and allocation guidance

·         Optimize and balance MOQ requirements to meet customer needs, partnering with Sourcing to adjust as needed

·         Consolidate inputs to build constrained demand plans, execute supply plans, and manage supply‑side alerts with cross‑functional team

·         Ensure customer delivery dates and service levels are met by working with Supply Operations and Global Logistics on appropriate transportation modes

·         Manage inventory levels, safety stock settings, and fulfillment strategies for assigned categories

·         Monitor KPIs (service levels, turns, stockouts) and take proactive action to resolve supply and inventory issues

·         Support required monthly reporting deliverables (supply plans, E&O analysis, OTIF metrics) in partnership with Finance and aligned with Global Supply Operations

·         Lead lifecycle management efforts, focusing on reducing E&O with Sales and Merchandising/Product team

·         Analyze constraints, lead times, and capacity to optimize replenishment and resolve allocation issues

·         Communicate supply risks and opportunities with clear, data-driven recommendations

·         Support new product introductions and end of life transitions through aligned supply strategies‑of‑life transitions through aligned supply strategies

·         Participate in S&OP, merchandising/product meetings, innovation reviews, inventory meetings, and other cross‑functional sessions

·         Lead and coach supply planners to strengthen alignment with Demand Planning, Finance, and Merchandising across demand/supply signals

 

You have:

• Minimum 5-7 years in supply planning, production planning, or an inventory management function

• Ability to lead and coach peers in a dynamic environment

• Capability to lead cross-functional meetings and influence outcomes

• Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities shift and data is not always clean

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, including with partners outside of planning

• Working proficiency of AI tools in daily analysis and reporting, and an eagerness to expand that skill set

• B.A./B.S. required, or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree

You might have:

• Consumer goods, outdoor, cycling, powersports, or apparel experience

• Experience working with overseas vendors and an offshore supply team

• Familiarity with Power BI or a comparable reporting environment

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
