Job Profile Summary:

The Data Management Professional – Facilities, Midstream & EAM is the subject matter resource for Devon’s facility and well site master data, equipment hierarchies, and midstream measurement and allocation data. The role stewards facility, equipment, and midstream master data in Peloton SiteView, SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), and Devon’s enterprise data warehouse (Snowflake), and is the data bridge between facilities engineering, midstream operations, maintenance/reliability, and Technology teams. The role owns or participates in data governance for the facilities, midstream, and EAM domain, defining and enforcing data standards that align with Devon’s enterprise data governance framework. Familiarity with EAM systems and oilfield equipment/asset hierarchies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serves as the subject matter expert on facility, site, oil and gas equipment data, and midstream measurement and allocation data

· Develops and enforces data governance policies and data quality rules for facilities, midstream, and equipment/EAM data, in alignment with Devon’s enterprise data governance framework

· Acts as the domain data steward within Devon’s enterprise data governance program, defining data ownership, maintaining business glossary and metadata in Alation, and tracking and reporting data quality metrics

· Establishes and maintains data standards for facility, well site, and midstream asset master data across Peloton SiteView, and Snowflake, consistent with enterprise data standards

· Partners with facilities engineers and techs, field construction and planning teams, and Technology teams to support the standardization, governance, and accessibility of facilities-centric data (facility/site IDs, equipment tags, location hierarchies, job and AFE data, etc.)

· Supports the standardization, governance, and accessibility of equipment master data, asset hierarchies, and attributes within and integrated with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), including work orders, PM schedules, and equipment history

· Manages data related to gathering systems, pipelines, meters, and midstream measurement and allocation, and supports data profiling and quality measurement for midstream volumes, nominations, and contract data

· Partners with facilities, midstream, maintenance/reliability, and Technology teams to align data management projects with business needs and identify process improvement and automation opportunities

· Provides standard and ad-hoc reporting and visualization on facilities, midstream, and equipment data

· Participates in asset acquisition and divestiture activity by gathering, managing, and sharing relevant data

· Educates facilities engineers, operators, and technicians on data standards, consumption, and analysis best practices

· Provides input on software development lifecycle processes, including testing and requirements documentation

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Petroleum/Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.

Experience:

· Substantial hands-on experience owning oil and gas equipment, facility/site, and midstream data at an operator, including equipment master data, asset hierarchies, and attribute standards

· Deep working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) and Peloton SiteView, and strong facilities and midstream business acumen, including gathering systems, compression and processing, measurement, allocation, and nominations

· Familiarity with GIS data and tools in the facilities and midstream domain preferred
