Meet the team:
Responsible for day-to-day execution of chemical laboratory, ensuring efficient preparation, analysis, and management of chemical solutions while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Providing support in setting up the in-process testing line with the chemical solution prepared and ensuring zero setup error. Support other engineering activities that focus on improvement in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Where you come in:
- You will execute the preparation, testing, and analysis of chemical solutions to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.
- You will maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments (e.g., YSI, Viscometer, pH Meter, weighting scale) to ensure accurate results.
- You will ensure adherence to safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals in compliance with OSHA, and other relevant regulations.
- You must direct day-to-day oversight and planning of work for the operations.
- You will assist supervisor/manager to plan and schedule resources and equipment.
- You will assist supervisor/manager to conduct and document training.
- You must ensure completeness and accuracy of manufacturing documents.
- You must ensure on-time equipment maintenance and calibration.
- You may assist in the transition of new products into manufacturing.
- You will monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations and alignments.
- You will clear minor machine difficulties and performs maintenance and repair as trained by a technician, engineer or supervisor.
- This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
What makes you successful:
- You must have a minimum with SPM qualification or previous experience working in a lab setting preferred but not required.
- You are well-organized, experienced in Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and able to comfortably work in a fast-paced environment.
- You have good learning attitude, teamwork spirit and work under pressure.
- You have ability to finish the task assign within timelines and meet deadlines.
- You are familiar with standard laboratory practices, specifically mixing and handling hazardous chemicals.
- You can effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managers.
- You have ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schematic, blueprint, equipment drawing, or schedule form.
