Business Information Analytics Researcher
Location - London
We're seeking someone to join our team as a Business Information Analytics Researcher to lead in depth research and analytics across EMEA Industrials and provide high quality, real time support to internal clients. The role primarily supports Investment Banking while partnering with Research, Investment Management, Sales & Trading, Wealth Management, and other groups across the Firm on client projects and strategic priorities.

This is a Director level position within the Business Information Services team in Glasgow.

What you'll do in the role:
Conduct and deliver company, market, and industry research across EMEA Industrials to support decision making for internal clients.
Develop subject matter expertise and produce high value research, analytics, benchmarking, transaction analysis, industry reporting, and agent based deliverables.
Analyse complex quantitative and qualitative information, synthesizing findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
Build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders across Investment Banking, Research, Investment Management, Sales & Trading, Wealth Management, and other business groups.
Design, build, and maintain AI enabled workflows, agents, and reusable skills, incorporating validation, escalation, and governance controls.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement by optimizing research processes, enhancing analytics capabilities, and collaborating globally to deliver consistent, compliant, and scalable solutions.
What you'll bring to the role:
Minimum 4 years of experience in sector research, information research, financial analytics, or a comparable financial services role; Industrials experience preferred but not required.
Strong business, finance, and accounting knowledge, including capital markets, financial statements, financial modeling concepts, ratios, and transaction analysis.
Excellent client relationship management skills, including the ability to understand business objectives, manage competing priorities, and deliver effective solutions.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing AI enabled workflows, prompts, reusable skills, workflow orchestration, evaluation processes, and control frameworks.
Strong analytical judgment and problem solving skills, with the ability to assess data quality, evaluate AI generated outputs, and communicate recommendations clearly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and synthesize complex information effectively.
Effective organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver independently.
Proficiency in financial and market information platforms, research databases, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and emerging technologies.
Ability to collaborate across business functions and geographies while maintaining high standards of confidentiality, compliance, and professional judgment.
Stand Out If You Have
Experience managing information products, research vendors, data suppliers, or service portfolios with experience in undertaking task decomposition, optimization and agentic build outs.
