We are current looking for a Senior NPI IC Product Engineer to join our Power IC team in Limerick, Ireland involved in development of integrated circuits at the heart of modern power systems. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for product engineering duties for new product development, characterization, qualification and releasing to mass production.

What you will be doing:
- Play a key role in new product development, qualification and release to mass production.
- Generate reliability plan, die sort and final test plan, characterization plan, bench and reliability test hardware design.
- Ensure new product release meets manufacturing and datasheet requirements.
- Manage product release schedule and product release plans.
- Work with package and design engineering team for POD, bonding diagram, LF, clip, substrate and bump design.
- Work with design, application and test team to debug and bring up new silicon and identify root cause for failures and non-conforming specifications.
- Perform and manage ATE to Bench correlation and bench characterization.
- Generate temperature characterization, reliability drift plots and final test yield and statistical reports.
- Generate Die sort, Final test and QA test limits, monitor NPI yield and yield improvement plans.
- Generate and manage engineering wafer starts, build requests and product release documentation.
- Test and support engineering sample requests for customers and internal teams.
- Work with sustaining engineering team for mass production handover.
- Work with marketing on finalizing datasheet electrical parameters.
What will you bring along:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent, masters a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in NPI-IC product engineering role. MOSFET and Multiphase or digital controller experience a plus.
- Very knowledgeable in the following areas: Advanced semiconductor packaging, Device physics, Digital and analog circuit theory, Reliability testing concepts, Electrical and thermal characterization, Failure analysis, Wafer fabrication, Assembly flows, Wafer sort and Final Test operation, Quality systems and standards such as ISO, AEC, JEDEC, DFMEA, DFT, DFM, DOE and statistical tools such PAT, SPC, GRR, JMP.
- Experience with ETS364/88/800 Eagle Tester, ASL1K or similar open architecture test platforms.
- Experience in bench setup, reliability, characterization and testing of semiconductor devices.
- Very knowledgeable in statistical analysis methods.
- Hands-on experience on lab bench equipment like Oscilloscopes, Power supplies, function generators, E-loads, multi meters, lab view etc.
- Knowledge in I2C, PMBUS, SPI and other communication protocols. And programming languages like python or lab view for lab automation.
