What You'll Do:
Join our manufacturing team and help produce high-quality color-matched mortar and coating products. In this hands-on role, you'll support production operations by assisting with batching, mixing, packaging, shipping, and quality checks while also supporting color-matching activities through sample preparation and product evaluation. Working alongside production and quality teams, you'll help ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive, stage, and handle cement, sand, aggregates, pigments, additives, packaging materials, and other production supplies.
Assist with batching, weighing, dry mixing, blending, and transferring mortar and coating materials according to production requirements.
Support color-matching activities by preparing sample batches, measuring pigments, documenting mix information, and comparing finished samples to approved standards.
Prepare, clean, and maintain mixers, hoppers, conveyors, packaging stations, tools, and production work areas.
Bag, label, palletize, wrap, stage, and load finished products for storage and shipment.
Perform quality checks, including color verification, consistency inspections, sample retention, and batch documentation.
Package products for UPS and LTL shipments, prepare shipping documentation, coordinate pickups, and stage freight for transport.
Assist with material movement, housekeeping, spill cleanup, dust control, and general plant support activities.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Manufacturing experience in related field is preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and speak in English and work in a team environment.
Adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demanding standards for quality and productivity.
Basic mathematical skills are necessary to fill out production sheets, create and interpret schedules, and determine plant procedures.
Understanding of manufacturing equipment and process required.
Experience with manufacturing/production computerized batching/PLC systems
Forklift training as required by OSHA.
