Job Title: Finance Supervisor

About the Role:
The Finance Supervisor will oversee the Philippine branch’s accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, timely tax compliance, proper coordination with headquarters, and adherence to local regulatory requirements. The role will work closely with the regional/headquarters finance team and external auditors, tax authorities, and service providers to maintain strong financial controls and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Financial Reporting: Manage the Philippine branch’s accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, perform monthly reconciliations with headquarters, and prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Tax Compliance: Independently manage local tax declarations and statutory requirements, including coordination with the BIR and external tax/accounting service providers.
- Audit & Documentation: Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare required schedules and supporting documents, and ensure timely implementation of audit findings and corrective actions.
- Financial Data & Records Management: Maintain accurate customer and supplier master data, transaction records, and financial documentation to ensure data integrity, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Financial Compliance & Risk Control: Monitor financial processes for compliance with Philippine regulations and company policies, implement headquarters’ financial controls locally, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably with exposure to full-cycle or general accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax compliance requirements, including BIR regulations and statutory reporting.
- Can speak and communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) to coordinate with headquarters on accounting and financial matters.
Good to Have Qualifications:
- CPA or other relevant professional accounting certification.
- Experience coordinating directly with a China-based headquarters or regional finance team.
