Description

Industry Analyst Relations Lead

The Opportunity:

Join Booz Allen as an Industry Analyst Relations Lead and help shape how the market understands the company’s expanding portfolio of proprietary enterprise software, cybersecurity, and tech-enabled solutions. In this role, you will design, drive, and execute an analyst relations strategy that positions offerings such as Vellox, Sit(X), and District Defend across traditional federal markets and high-growth commercial and enterprise sectors.

You will serve as the primary liaison and strategic advisor connecting Booz Allen business leaders, product teams, and subject matter experts with key industry analysts at major research firms and emerging specialized boutique technology and defense-tech analyst firms. You’ll build and measure an analyst relations roadmap that elevates market awareness, shapes analyst perception, and validates the company’s transition toward dual-use and enterprise market products.

Your work will matter. You’ll engage influential market observers early while categories, terminology, and evaluation criteria are still being defined, prepare executives for high-impact analyst interactions, and translate analyst insights into actionable intelligence for internal product and growth teams. This role is ideal for someone who can operate as both a strategic advisor and hands-on program owner in a matrixed, mission-driven environment. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual industry analyst relations strategy aligned with enterprise growth priorities, portfolio diversification, product commercialization goals, and emerging category-development opportunities.

  • Engage analysts early, before formal research cycles and category definitions are established, to shape market narratives, influence emerging terminology and evaluation criteria, and position Booz Allen as a credible leader in developing technology segments.

  • Partner with product managers and go-to-market teams to articulate the value proposition of Booz Allen’s enterprise products, including Sit(X), District Defend, and Vellox, to key market analysts.

  • Cultivate deep, ongoing relationships with primary analyst firms, including Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and Frost & Sullivan, and identify high-value niche and boutique analyst groups covering defense tech, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.

  • Prepare senior executives, market leaders, and technical leads for analyst briefings, strategy days, and inquiry sessions, ensuring consistent, credible, and high-impact messaging.

  • Lead end-to-end management of vendor assessments, competitive reports, and evaluative research participation to ensure accurate representation of the company’s capabilities and offerings.

  • Establish program KPIs and metrics to track market perception, analyst mindshare, category influence, and ROI.

  • Synthesize external analyst feedback into actionable intelligence that informs internal product roadmaps, growth priorities, and strategic positioning.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in industry analyst relations within technology, enterprise software, cybersecurity, or tech-enabled services organizations

  • Experience managing end-to-end analyst relations programs as a primary owner or operator, including strategy, execution, and measurement

  • Experience positioning enterprise software or commercial technology products alongside traditional professional services

  • Experience engaging analysts early to shape emerging markets, technology categories, terminology, or evaluation frameworks

  • Experience engaging directly with analysts at major firms, including Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and Frost & Sullivan

  • Experience advising, coaching, and influencing executive leadership on analyst engagement strategies and market positioning

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supporting portfolio diversification efforts beyond the U.S. federal market into enterprise, commercial, or dual-use technology sectors

  • Experience translating complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for external audiences

  • Knowledge of software-defined architectures, tactical communications, digital defense technologies, or enterprise cybersecurity products

  • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across cross-functional teams

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
