GPU SW Security PSIRT Lead

We are searching for a highly motivated security engineer to join the GPU Software team. As someone who is hardworking and passionate about their work, you will anchor PSIRT and security responses for the largest, most diverse SW organization within NVIDIA.

## What you'll be doing:

• Program leadership - Own GPU-SW PSIRT as the central point of contact for engineering teams. Communicate risks, advocate for PSIRT priorities, and report metrics to security leadership.
• Triage & prioritization - Assess report validity and severity, including working with HW Security. Draft CVSS, CVE, CWE details. Prioritize cases by technical severity, media attention, and business impact, and challenge unsupported claims.
• Technical investigation - Reproduce vulnerabilities, determine root causes, and recommend fixes. Lead urgent zero-day responses.
• Remediation coordination - Identify owners from sparse crash logs, track bugs, communicate and ensure SLAs.
• Tooling & enablement - Develop risk dashboards, automate triage, routing, and scoring with LLMs. Train engineers on PSIRT processes and vulnerability response.

## What we need to see:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree

12+ years of vulnerability management or PSIRT experience in complex organizations.

• Ability to clearly articulate security issues and practical consequences to diverse levels of engineering and management.
• Strong C programming skills with hands-on experience in embedded systems or device drivers.
• Proven track record to debug crashes, reproduce vulnerabilities, and identify root causes.
• Familiarity with system architecture fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA)..

## Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Performed as a PSIRT lead in a large organization with complex communication requirements.
• Offensive security, debugging experience in kernel, drivers, fw.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy agentic workflows.
• Experience with inner workings of toolchains such as GCC, GDB.
• Experience with embedded system SW concepts, e.g.: RTOS and overlay programming models.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
