  • Identify emerging market opportunities, competitive threats, industry trends, and customer needs to grow the site's legacy market share and position it as a best-in-class provider of underground mining equipment rebuild and fabrication solutions.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts for mining equipment rebuilds, aftermarket support, component repair, field service, and equipment sales opportunities at the site.
  • Evaluate and pursue new revenue streams, including new product offerings, service capabilities, and custom fabrication opportunities, to drive steady growth beyond the site's legacy business.
  • Represent ICM and the site within the local mining community through customer visits, trade organizations, industry events, and strategic partnerships.

  • Collaborate with sales, service, and operational leaders to develop customer-specific business plans for the site.
  • Identify opportunities to influence equipment rebuild, replacement, maintenance, and aftermarket support decisions early in customer planning cycles.
  • Lead key account strategies focused on long-term customer partnerships and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer investment strategies to proactively position ICM's solutions and protect the site's legacy market share.

Operational Leadership

  • Provide executive oversight for all site operations, including the rebuild center, custom fabrication shop, field service activities, component repair programs, and parts support.
  • Ensure mining operations consistently achieve safety, quality, schedule, and profitability objectives.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve workflow, quality, turnaround times, and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure rebuild, custom fabrication, and repair activities meet OEM specifications, customer requirements, and company quality standards.

Financial Performance

  • Maintain full profit and loss responsibility for the site, which generates approximately $28-40M in annual top-line revenue.
  • Develop annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and capital investment strategies.
  • Monitor financial performance including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, labor recovery, productivity, inventory performance, and return on investment.
