A Brief Overview

Value Streams are new ways of working that focus on optimizing and changing our business in ways that support that execution of our strategy. These teams will have decision autonomy, agile decision-making and dedicated cross-functional teams. The Value Streams will be a paradigm shift in the way work is organized across the organization are designed to provide significant benefits to top line growth, efficiency gains and customer satisfaction, bring together siloed initiatives and drive 'change' in an efficient & coordinated manner, maximizing value from investments, meet end-to-end customer/business needs and aim to reimagine experiences & supporting capabilities, rather than making incremental improvements, transform all aspects of the organization from front-to-back and deliver a standard, iterative methodology organized into several phases where we baseline, reimagine, redesign and support implementation. Value Streams encompass all Optimize the Business (OTB) and Change the Business (CTB) initiatives inclusive of product, technology and process initiatives. The Director, Transformation will report directly to the executive that is the Transformational Leader aligned to their Value Stream and be instrumental in bringing the customer [external and / or internal] to the center of the change, driving new ways of working, collaborating across sub-streams and delivering specific results contributing to the overall value stream's targeted outcomes. This leader will have accountability for decisions related to prioritization, funding allocation, and resourcing. This is an individual contributor role that will cross functional resources such as solution architects, products, business transformation, data & analytics and program managers.

What you will do

  • Execute the sub-stream transformation and achieve stated outcomes
  • Influence planning and determine sub-stream priorities within parameters of the Value Stream
  • Allocate sub-stream funding and resources to specific initiatives
  • Partner with key stakeholders and functional leaders to make trade-off and resource allocation decisions across initiatives in relation to both Value Stream outcomes and other required business outcomes
  • Resolve cross-initiative issues and remove barriers to execution
  • Drive adoption of new ways of working and consistent standards by demonstrating and executing withing the new standards and holding others accountable
  • Influence and direct the work of the shared resources and support the performance development by providing timely, relevant and constructive performance feedback and partner cross functionally to ensure the success of the matrixed teams
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive execution of complex transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the value stream goals and expected outcomes. preferred
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and influencing cross functionally, and through indirect resources to define, align, and manage expectations for program success. preferred
  • Developing track record of delivering final outcomes, working within internal governance frameworks, and adopting new ways of working to drive execution. preferred
  • Strong leadership skills in managing day-to-day operations of core teams, facilitating key ceremonies, and pressure testing insights and solutions. preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in anticipating and resolving blockers, conflicts, and obstacles, ensuring successful implementation of prioritized backlogs aligned with customer needs and expectations required
  • Domain experience in their field paired with curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and value creation. Sees failures as an opportunity to learn, creating an environment where colleagues strive for incredible things.

Travel Requirements

National travel with continuous days in office / on-site in working sessions at least quarterly and possibly monthly in year one.

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $125,000.00 to $250,000.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
