Description
Oakridge is hiring a reliable and safety-focused DZ Driver to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable driver who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and is interested in supporting landscape construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment while following all traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from project sites.
- Support landscape construction crews with deliveries, pickups, and site tasks.
- Water green spaces and softscape installations at project sites.
- Complete deliveries and pickups efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any delays or issues.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, keep vehicles clean, and report maintenance concerns.
- Work collaboratively with field teams to support successful project completion.
Requirements:
- Valid DZ driver’s license.
- Clean driving record; driver’s abstract may be required.
- Previous DZ driving, delivery, construction, or landscaping experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-service focused.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Details:
Position: Full-time.
Location: 340 Regional Road 20, Hannon, ON.
Pay: $27.00–$32.00 per hour.
