Advisor, Learning & Development

Position Summary

The Advisor, Learning & Development supports the planning, coordination, and administration of learning and development programs across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring training activities are delivered efficiently by managing learning administration, Learning Management Systems (LMS), case management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate has experience in HR Shared Services or HR Operations, particularly in Learning Operations, and is comfortable working with global stakeholders, vendors, and learning technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end administration of learning and training programs, ensuring timely and accurate execution of learning activities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for learning administration processes and provide guidance to employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle complex and time-sensitive learning administration issues and act as the primary escalation point for training-related concerns.
  • Coordinate with HR teams, Learning Centers of Expertise (CoE), subject matter experts (SMEs), and external vendors to resolve issues and support learning initiatives.
  • Administer Learning Management Systems (LMS), including course assignments, enrollments, completions, and learner records.
  • Manage and respond to employee inquiries through ServiceNow or other case management systems while ensuring service level commitments are met.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor learning activities, team performance, capacity, and process effectiveness.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, standardize processes, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and represent the Learning Operations team in projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members and support the continuous development of existing team members.
  • Coordinate and perform functional testing for LMS configuration changes, system upgrades, enhancements, and patches.
  • Maintain and update process documentation and work instructions, ensuring they remain accurate and are reviewed regularly.
  • Assist the L&D Manager in managing the team's shared mailbox, monitoring incoming requests, and assigning cases based on priority and team capacity.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information and sensitive HR data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or Learning Operations.
  • Experience supporting learning administration within a multinational, professional services, financial services, or shared services environment.
  • Hands-on experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar case management platforms.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
  • Willing to work on a rotating shift supporting APAC, EMEA, and Americas time zones.
  • Amenable to a hybrid work setup.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HRIS and Learning Management Systems such as Workday Learning, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Learning, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and process documentation.
  • Knowledge of functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system enhancements.
  • Experience supporting process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
