The successful candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional quality for our customers. Working within the Slaughter Team, this role reports to the Slaughter Hall Manager. Working hours are 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Slaughter Hall Team at Dunbia Sawley. This is a hands-on role within a regulated food production environment, where you will support the safe, efficient and hygienic processing of cattle in line with animal welfare, food safety and quality standards. Full training will be provided, so previous experience is beneficial but not essential. We are looking for people who are willing to learn, follow procedures carefully and work well as part of a team.

- Previous food manufacturing experience is beneficial, not essential, and full training will be given to the successful candidate

Responsibilities
- Carry out duties within the slaughter hall, including slaughter, dressing and evisceration of cattle, in line with animal welfare, food safety and company procedures.
- Work safely and effectively as part of the team to support efficient production.
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene, quality and food safety standards at all times.
- Work in line with customer and company specifications.
- Maintain a clean-as-you-go approach, ensuring the work area is kept clean during and after production.
- Follow instructions from the Manager/Supervisor and contribute to achieving departmental targets.
- Use all equipment, tools and PPE correctly and responsibly, in line with training and site procedures.
