RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act responsibly and consistent with the business line Catalysts sales plan, keeping effective contact with customers and taking care of the EVONIK image before them.
- Manage businesses with existing customers in Brazil, primarily in the refinery and petrochemicals market segment. Additionally business development is in scope, particularly for catalyst rejuvenation and DLE.
- Prepare, negotiate and coordinate offers and contracts
- Coordinate relationships with customers and initiate/align customer related activities.
- Represent Evonik Catalysts and present our offerings at congresses, fairs and technical meetings. Contact of Evonik to SBCat
- Upkeep of CRM related activities such as updating forecast in SAP IBP-DP as well as call reports, opportunities and complaints in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Preparation of business cases for new internal distribution models for the product lines, opportunities and metal cycles and services considering duties and VAT benefits, logistics, legal requirements.
- Accomplish the service of precious metals and Nickel reclaiming, including temporary exporting
- Support the Applied Tech Americas in the Coordination of sample requests from South America;
- Gets market information from Industry, Research centers, Importing Statistics, etc. and share them with the Group, following-up competitor’s activities and new technologies. Contributes to the development of Market Research and sales/marketing strategy
REQUIREMENTS
- University (First degree) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Post graduate degree is desirable.
- Experience in negotiation, sales or marketing, most ideally with experience in catalysis or refineries.
- Advanced Excel skills, fluency in English, advanced in Spanish. Knowledge of Brazilian Taxes and foreign trade is a plus.
