Description
Our office, Fairfield County Implants & Periodontics, is seeking a personable and kind-hearted Treatment Coordinator to join our team! We have a beautiful modern office, a wonderful patient population, and an enthusiastic team dedicated to quality care.
Your Responsibilities
As a Dental Treatment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience from the initial consultation to treatment completion. Your primary responsibilities will include effectively communicating treatment plans, coordinating appointments, assisting patients with financial arrangements, and ensuring a positive and stress-free experience for our valued patients.
- Scheduling patients, confirming appointments, collecting payments, providing a WOW experience for our patients
- Completing treatment consents, coordinating patient treatment with other providers
- Answering heavy phone volume, emails, and text messages
- Regular clerical duties: scanning, filing, organizing
- Fully onsite
As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
Schedule
Monday-Friday (4-day work week) 7:30am-5:00pm
Office is closed Saturday and Sunday- No Weekend Work
Your Background
The Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care by effectively communicating treatment plans, assisting with financial arrangements, and coordinating appointments. You also have the following:
- Must live within 25 miles of the office
- Passionate about customer service
- Previous hospitality experience
- Team player
- Solution-oriented
- Great written and verbal communication
- Interpersonal and organizational skills
- Great attitude and strong work ethic
- Dental experience is not required, but it is preferred
- A high school diploma
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment
- Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
- Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
- Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
- Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
