Position Summary
Reliable Home Care Providers, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home care for an elderly female client in Lake Bluff, Illinois. The client is non-ambulatory and has limited verbal communication. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, reliable, and experienced in providing hands-on personal care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the client with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Assist with safe transfers and positioning.
- Operate a sit-to-stand transfer chair for client transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Complete laundry and linen changes.
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being.
- Communicate concerns promptly to the supervisor or designated contact.
Schedule
- 20 hours per week
- 5 days per week
- 4 hours per day
- Afternoon shifts, with flexibility depending on the client's needs:
- 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Position available immediately

Requirements
- Previous experience caring for elderly or non-ambulatory clients is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Experience assisting with all ADLs and personal care.
- Ability to operate a sit-to-stand transfer chair is required, or willingness to learn is a MUST.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to safely assist with transfers, feeding, bathing, toileting, and other personal care needs.
