  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve workflows, strengthen technical quality, and support timely business decisions.
  • Prepare clear technical summaries, recommendations, maps, presentations, and decision-support materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Help capture and organize geoscience knowledge, data, and lessons learned to support department continuity and long-term succession planning.

Your Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geoscience, Earth Science, or a related technical discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Progressive experience in petroleum geology, development geology, operations geology, reservoir characterization, or a related oil and gas geoscience role.
  • Strong technical understanding of subsurface mapping, stratigraphy, structure, reservoir quality, well planning, and data integration.
  • Experience supporting drilling, completions, reservoir, or operations teams in an exploration and production environment.
  • Proficiency with geologic interpretation, mapping, and data management tools; ability to work with large technical datasets and maintain accurate geologic records.
  • Ability to evaluate opportunities, identify risks, and develop practical recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex geologic concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Must be able to work from the Morgantown office on a hybrid schedule, with availability to support field, operational, or business needs as required.
