Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for coordinating efforts across various teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with project goals. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous collaboration to drive the successful delivery of customized software solutions, while maintaining clear communication channels with stakeholders and team members throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and resolve any technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday HCM Testing.
- Experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for Workday HCM modules.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into effective test scenarios.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software to ensure thorough documentation and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday HCM Testing.
- This position is based at our HDC3C - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
