Description
The Opportunity:
CACI’s Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is hiring an experienced Maven Smart System (MSS) support engineer to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Joint Staff J2 organization. This pivotal role will provide expert support on the MSS platform.
Your focus will be to configure and maintain the MSS operating environment, manage users, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and workflows, implement automation, and troubleshoot and resolve issues and performance problems.
Responsibilities:
Configure and manage system environments to ensure secure, reliable hosting of data, tools, and end‑user applications.
Implement CI/CD processes for workflow pipelines, automating data and product deployment and maintenance.
Integrate data products into existing NGB operational workflows.
Ensure adherence to data standards, security requirements, and compliance policies.
Maintain and update data and workflow documentation as required.
Monitor Maven network performance and security protocols to ensure uninterrupted access across distributed/partner environments according to permission levels.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues affecting data feeds, tools, and end‑user applications.
Identify workflow or product improvement opportunities based on user feedback and archive findings for wider organizational use.
Manage user permissions, access controls, and role‑based data entitlements.
Conduct training sessions IAW Maven Smart Systems user guides and J2/State‑J2 training plans.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an active Secret DoD security clearance with the ability to attain a Top Secret.
College degree (B.S., M.S.) in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with an AI-powered data integration and decision support system.
Strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced DoD environment.
Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills to the mission.
Required Technical Skills:
Demonstrated experience administering or supporting enterprise data platforms such as Palantir’s Maven Smart System, Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, or similar analytical environments.
Ability to configure and manage secure system/data environments for mission use.
Competence in CI/CD pipeline operations, workflow automation, and deployment maintenance.
Experience troubleshooting data workflows, ingestion issues, performance degradation, and user‑application errors.
Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and compliance standards in DoD environments.
Ability to integrate data products into operational workflows and maintain documentation.
Skill in designing and delivering hands‑on user training aligned with Maven Smart Systems guidance (or similar platform) and directorate training plans.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to mission operators and leadership.
Proficiency in documenting workflows, process changes, and system updates.
Desired:
Active Top Secret Clearance.
Experience supporting technical requirements in the NGB, ARNG, ANG, or NGB Joint Staff.
Experience on the DoD/DoW Advana data platform.
Experience on the Army Vantage data platform.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
