Northrop Grumman, Propulsion Systems, is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant 3 to support two primary programs, Propulsion Subsystem Support Contract (PSSC) and Rocket System Launch Program (RSLP) within the Tactical Products and Services organization of Advance programs on-site at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to multiple leaders in a fast paced aerospace design and manufacturing environment

  • Manage and maintain leaders’ calendars and schedules

  • Manage conference room schedules

  • Schedule meetings and reviews, track action items

  • Ensure appropriate meeting preparations are made (coordination of call-in number, meeting materials available and printed if required, catering requests, etc.) for both internal and external meetings

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports

  • Produce neat and accurate correspondence, forms, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. from verbal instruction, notes or handwritten copy

  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports

  • Purchase/track budgets for rewards and recognition, office supplies and other miscellaneous expenses

  • Maintain common file locations

  • Compile weekly leadership status reports

  • Answer phone calls and support onsite customer reps.

  • Interact in a positive way with other staff members, support teams, customers and be a leader/team player with the administrative and program teams

  • Maintain confidence of sensitive employee, customer, business and program information

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 4 years’ relevant experience

  • Minimum two years of professional executive support experience

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

  • Proactive, highly motivated and adaptable, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, changing needs, and competing priorities

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and handle multiple tasks and managers in a fast-paced office environment

  • Ability to maintain confidences (employees, business, customers, programs, etc.)

  • Ability to complete ambiguous tasks with little to no oversight

  • Positive attitude with a team player mentality

  • Intermediate to High level MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong proofreading and document preparation skills

  • Proficiency in business and travel expense system (Concur or similar)

Primary Level Salary Range: $48,400.00 - $80,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
