We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Ticket Runner to join our maintenance team at our Clear Lake City properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests and repairs accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Assist the Service Manager with daily maintenance operations and service requests.
• Help ensure work orders are completed within 24 hours or according to community policy.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Assist with inventory management of parts, tools, and supplies.
• Perform routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and community amenities.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and ensure the community remains in excellent physical condition.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communicate professionally with residents, vendors, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Follow all company safety, hazard communication, and personnel policies.
• Assist with maintaining curb appeal and completing apartment turnovers when needed.
• Participate in technical training to maintain and improve maintenance skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

Candidates should have experience diagnosing and repairing:

• Major appliances
• Basic to intermediate plumbing
• Basic to intermediate electrical systems where no license is required
• Drywall/sheetrock
• General carpentry
• Flooring and tile installation/repairs
• Pest control, if required by the property
• Roof and gutter repairs
• Painting and wallpaper
• Foundation and sidewalk repairs

Ideal candidates are dependable, hands-on, safety-conscious, customer-service oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
