Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Lead Quality Assurance Technicians for projects located in or around Seattle, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $36-$41/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Oversee the quality program from production through final inspection
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team
- Maintain and improve quality management systems, procedures, and documentation
- Establish inspection, testing, and auditing processes
- Review quality data and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities
- Investigate non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements
- Partner with production, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns
- Review technical drawings and customer specifications
- Develop quality reports, metrics, and documentation
- Provide training and guidance on quality standards and best practices
- Report to on-site manager
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and statistical process control
- Familiarity with regulated manufacturing and customer compliance requirements
- Experience with metal manufacturing, finishing, or precision components highly preferred
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and FAA-regulated environments is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
