As the Global Facilities Regional Engineering CSA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in crafting the future of our manufacturing sites in North Asia. This is an outstanding opportunity to bring to bear your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive alignment and excellence in construction project planning, management, schedule, cost control, testing & commissioning, and operational programs. Your work will be instrumental in setting the standards for Micron's success in China, Taiwan, and Japan.

Serving as a key member of our distributed team in North Asia, you will guide facility standardization efforts, coordinate construction project management, and support operational improvements across the area. You will partner with the Facilities Central Engineering Team, Construction Team, Line Planning Team, and O&M Team to guarantee seamless execution and continuous progress.

Critical metrics include project management efficiency, adherence to schedules, cost control, safety performance, and improving facilities system reliability to minimize production disruptions.

This is also an opportunity to lead using AI for improvement of daily work efficiency and effectiveness by using generative AI, AI assistant and other AI tools.

## Responsibilities and tasks:

  • ## Project
  • Build and construct regional greenfield projects aligned with global standards.
  • Provide engineering support for site projects, technology transfers, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Review and approve site capacity expansions and sustainability capital expenditures.
  • Prioritize and make strategic decisions on Facilities Reliability Improvement projects.
  • ## Reliability
  • Support system improvement and equipment end-of-life projects.
  • Lead regional efforts to align strategic programs like BCP and Quality Defense Line.
  • Review major Site Incident Prevention Programs and share lessons learned.
  • ## Communication
  • ### Act as the sole liaison for regional sites and the Global Facilities Central teams.
  • Ensure alignment on metrics reporting and communication.
  • ## Engineering and Others
  • ### Provide expert support for CSA Engineering and major construction projects.
  • Technically lead a cross-functional team passionate about project excellence.
  • Conduct site visits and field surveys.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working required to support achieving successful construction project execution and reliable facilities systems operation.
  • Leverage AI tools and AI-assisted technologies to enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency in daily work.
  • Utilize AI-supported solutions to enhance day-to-day tasks and workflows.

## Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree and above or equivalent experience
