Essential Responsibilities
- Operate fuel/lube trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed
- Conduct pre-trip and walk-around inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs)
- Perform routine equipment inspections, identify maintenance requirements, and coordinate repairs as required
- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Fuel & Lube Technician on heavy equipment
- Knowledge of parts and servicing of Caterpillar, John Deere & Komatsu equipment types
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory 3-year driver's abstract required
- Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
- Transport of Dangerous Goods ticket
- CSTS-2020 Fundamentals ticket
Work Conditions
- 14 days on / 7 days off rotational schedule
- Camp accommodation provided
