Principal Engineer - Product Engineering

Are you an experienced semiconductor professional passionate about solving complex engineering challenges and driving manufacturing excellence? Join our team as a Principal Engineer, Product Engineering , where you will lead yield improvement initiatives, optimize test coverage, and influence key manufacturing and cost-reduction strategies for advanced microcontroller products. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Investigate and resolve production failures using advanced laboratory tools and bench equipment to drive yield improvement and product quality. Provide technical leadership and expert guidance to ensure efficient issue resolution and continuous enhancement of microcontroller test coverage . Drive cost reduction initiatives , including: Test time reduction Test yield improvement Fab site qualification Manufacturing flow transfers from high-cost to lower-cost manufacturing locations Perform comprehensive customer return analysis and generate detailed failure analysis reports to support corrective and preventive actions. Lead the bring-up of product derivatives from the existing product portfolio, supporting New Sales Opportunities (NSO) and business growth. Define and implement test program improvements to enhance product performance, quality, and manufacturing efficiency. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or a related discipline. Strong programming proficiency in: C, C++, Perl,  Python Proven track record of delivering results through innovative problem-solving and technical leadership, with examples of impactful project outcomes. Strong desire to take on challenges, drive initiatives independently, and effectively manage priorities to meet business objectives. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills , with the ability to: Drive and achieve team KPIs Influence cross-functional stakeholders Adapt and excel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
