Job Summary

This job focuses on advancing DevOps methodologies by refining software lifecycle processes and enhancing collaboration between development and operations. It entails building and iterating on CI/CD pipelines, promoting automation, and proactively managing system infrastructure for scalability and stability. The role also involves maintaining knowledge of evolving development technologies and methodologies.

• Apache Tomcat administration (WAR deployment, configuration)​
• Linux server administration​
• Shell scripting (Bash + PowerShell)​
• Git operations (branching strategies, protected branches)​
• Network fundamentals (ports, firewalls, LDAPS)​
• CI/CD pipeline design (build → test → deploy)​
• SonarQube (integration, quality gates, per-module analysis)​
• SSH-based deployments (SCP, ssh-agent, cert auth)​
• Container/Kubernetes architecture​
• Monitoring & observability (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus)​
• L1/L2 Production Support — log analysis, incident triage​

• Implementing and optimizing processes, tools, and methodologies throughout the software development life cycle
• Working to optimize the development process and bridge the gap between software development, engineering, and management
• Building continuous integration, continuous development, and deployment pipelines for continuous improvement
• Encouraging the creation of automated processes to streamline development and deployment
• Improving communication and collaboration between development and operations teams
• Monitoring application performance and proactively addressing operational issues
• Creating stable and scalable operating environments by continuously improving infrastructure
• Maintaining advanced knowledge of development processes and programming languages
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
