The Opportunity

As a Deals - FDD Contracts and Closing Mechanisms - Senior Associate, you will provide strategic advice and business diligence services to clients navigating mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will analyze financial information, focusing on quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and other key client deal issues. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing increased ambiguity.

In this role within our Deals practice, you will leverage a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, using reflection to enhance strengths and address development areas. Your critical thinking will help break down complex concepts, and you will interpret data to inform insights and recommendations. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will contribute to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing financial information to assess quality of earnings, cash flows, and key deal issues
- Supporting clients in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by providing strategic advice and business diligence services
- Utilizing financial modeling and forecasting techniques to inform client decision-making
- Collaborating with clients to navigate complex transactions and maximize business value
- Conducting financial statement analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Developing insights and recommendations based on data interpretation and industry trends
- Managing deal management processes and contractual agreements to facilitate successful transactions
- Building and maintaining meaningful client relationships to enhance service delivery
- Applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address client challenges
- Upholding professional and technical standards in all client engagements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- Demonstrating proficiency in financial statement analysis and modeling
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret complex financial data
- Navigating contractual agreements and closing mechanisms effectively
- Excelling in business valuations and earnings quality assessments
- Developing insights through industry trend analysis and market trends
- Embracing change and demonstrating intellectual curiosity in dynamic environments

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
