Electrician: Apprentice

MTJ Electric is hiring Electrical ApprenticesCommercial Projects You will have the opportunity to work with our Leadership Team to build in a great environment on a variety of different project types.  We have a great core of Electricians and want to add new quality people to help solidify our crews and deliver excellent projects.We are looking for candidates with training and field experience in the electrical trade to undertake tasks related to electrical systems in our company. The position includes installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, wiring, for our clients.. Because this job comes with risks, our electrician needs to be responsible and have great attention to safety precautions. Our ideal candidate is hard working and hungry to learn the trade by working in the trade.Electrician Duties & Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and lighting systemsTest electrical devices and provide on-spot solutionsUse tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to detect issuesPerform preventive and routine maintenance on electrical systems and warn management about potential hazardsInstall safety components and connect wiring in electrical circuits and networksFollow electrical codes, blueprints, and standards for ultimate efficiency and safety.Document all your actions, including testing results and steps taken to resolve issuesElectrician Requirements:Trade Training & 1-2 years in the fieldInterest in learning the Electrical TradeA high school diploma or similar education is a plusValid driver’s licenseKnowledge of different electrical systems, blueprints, power generation, and similarAbility to use electrical and hand tools and craft electrical documents and blueprintsUnderstanding of safety procedures and legal codes and guidelinesCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsGood time management skillsMTJ Offers- Full Time- 401(K) with Match- Health Care- Dental & Vision- Competitive PayTime & Place- Various sites in All Parts of the Valley- 8 hours Days- Typical Daytime construction schedulesSafety- MTJ prides itself of safe work environments and empowering the Team to lead regardless of position.We look forward to welcoming you to the TEAM
