About the Role
More Nutrition is investing in its International B2B business and is looking for an International Commercial Strategy Lead to take the brand's commercial playbook — developed centrally out of Germany — and adapt it into winning, market-specific plans across the UK, Benelux, Italy, Switzerland and Austria.
You will be the key point of contact between International country execution and Key Account Management (KAM) teams on one side, and the central commercial strategy function on the other — translating global priorities into local retailer and Amazon plans, and bringing local market realities back into global planning. You will report to the VP International, with a dotted line into the Global Commercial Lead.
Your mission
International Go-To-Market Strategy
- Adapt the group's “Where to Play” trade-channel priorities and growth ambition for the UK, Benelux, Italy, Switzerland and Austria, in partnership with the global Brand Commercial team in Germany.
- Localize the “How to Win” commercial strategy for each market: clear priorities, KPIs and customer-focused plans that reflect local retailer landscapes and competitive dynamics.
Commercial Fundamentals Across Markets
- Assortment: define channel- and market-specific assortment (size, price and pack-format differentiation), hero SKUs and ranging recommendations for each priority retailer and Amazon; set and track distribution KPIs.
- Place: partner with category management to define “perfect store” standards (shelf execution, secondary display, POS and claims) suited to local retail formats; set and track shelf and display KPIs.
- Promotion: define local promotional guidelines (discount depth, frequency, mechanics) and in-store/online activation plans; track promotional ROI.
- Price: define local omnichannel pricing and pack-size strategy, balanced against consumer value, competition, customer profitability and company margin; set and track pricing and margin KPIs.
- People: enable local KAMs and field sales teams to execute with excellence, ensuring sell-in tools and brand/category training are delivered on time and in full.
Innovation & Sell-In
- Localize the group's innovation masterplan and KAM/field-sales sell-in toolkits (prioritization, concept sell, execution visuals, store leave-behinds) for International retailers and Amazon.
Stakeholder & Operational Leadership
- Act as the key point of contact between International country execution and KAM teams and the central/global commercial strategy function on day-to-day business and strategic planning.
- Own commercial KPI and ROI tracking and reporting for International markets, and represent International in relevant global commercial review cadences.
- Be the “voice” of International markets, feeding local retailer and consumer insight back into global brand and commercial planning.
Your experience & skills
- 6–8 years of commercial strategy, trade marketing, category management or key account management within FMCG, CPG, sports/active nutrition or wellness.
- Direct experience with major retailers in the UK and/or Benelux and possibly already a multi-market or regional experience.
- Comfort working cross-functionally and cross-culturally with a German HQ team; German language skills are a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience owning commercially relevant KPIs and turning data into action, combined with a hands-on, pragmatic mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across markets and functions without direct authority.
- Based in the UK or the Netherlands, with willingness to travel regularly to Hamburg and across the International market cluster.
