As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Dispatch in Kansas City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional, you will be the welcoming presence at a dynamic corporate location, supporting access control, visitor management, and clear communication with employees and guests. You will help maintain an organized, professional environment while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the assigned post; report unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional corporate environment by providing directions, answering routine inquiries, and assisting with delivery, vendor, and guest access procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
