Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Carson, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate observations, respond to routine concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and pedestrian activity in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
