Description
The HRIS Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the daily functions of the Human Resources Department including managing, analyzing, and enhancing HR systems and data processes, supporting compliance, and providing analytics that inform organizational decisions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Serves as subject matter expert for the HRIS platform, including configuration, reporting, security, and process design.
- Develops, audits, and maintains automated HR workflows, integrations, and data processes across systems.
- Advises HR and Payroll teams on system optimization and data governance improvements.
- Designs and runs dashboards, queries, and advanced reports to support strategic decision-making and compliance.
- Supports annual cycles such as benefits enrollment, compensation adjustments, and performance evaluations.
- Leads or assists with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new HRIS modules or enhancements.
- Provides user support and technical training to HR staff and department users.
- Ensures compliance with FLSA, EEO, and HIPAA through system configuration, audits, and data access control.
- Collaborates with IT and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend solutions.
- Analyzes HR data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities related to workforce metrics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competency with computers and Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Advanced analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, Oracle) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Cognos, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employment law, and data privacy standards.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets, design queries, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience configuring workflows, maintaining system integrity, and managing user roles and permissions.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting data, training users, and engaging stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in HRIS administration, data analytics, or HR systems management.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with system implementations, integrations, or project management.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or HRIP.
- Familiarity with system governance policies and process documentation.
While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, use a computer, talk, and hear. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs occasionally.
