Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Guest Reception in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a residential location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence for residents and visitors while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain a professional environment by responding to inquiries and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies.
• Monitor access to the residential location, verify visitors and deliveries in accordance with established procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and package logs.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Answer phones, greet guests, provide basic directions or information, and communicate professionally with residents, building staff, and emergency responders.
• Monitor security-related systems and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
