Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional, organized environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Monitor access to the facility, direct guests and vendors to appropriate areas, and communicate access concerns to designated site contacts.
• Answer incoming calls, receive and route inquiries, and provide clear directions and general site information in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
