The Director of Parking is responsible for leading all parking operations at Spooky Nook Sports Ohio, ensuring a safe, organized, and welcoming arrival experience for every guest. This role oversees the daily operation of the Parking Department, including staff leadership, scheduling, budgeting, training, policy development, traffic management, and event planning. The Director works collaboratively with internal departments to provide exceptional guest service while maintaining efficient parking operations during daily business and large-scale events.
Salary range: $50,000-$55,000

Essential Job Functions
- Lead, supervise, and develop the Parking Department, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of parking staff.
- Oversee all parking operations to ensure safe, efficient traffic flow throughout the property during daily operations and special events.
- Develop staffing plans and create employee schedules based on business demands and event calendars.
- Coordinate parking logistics with internal departments, tournament directors, event organizers, and external partners.
- Monitor parking lots and traffic patterns to identify operational improvements and implement solutions.
- Establish, maintain, and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Maintain department budgets and oversee inventory, equipment, signage, and operational resources.
- Respond to guest concerns, complaints, and incidents while providing prompt resolution and exceptional customer service.
- Ensure parking lots are properly maintained and coordinate with Facilities regarding maintenance, snow removal, lighting, striping, and safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate reports, incident documentation, staffing records, and operational metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with emergency response planning and coordinate traffic management during emergencies or evacuations.
- Foster a positive, professional work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Sports Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
- Three or more years of leadership experience in parking operations, security, facilities, event operations, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing staff in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and departmental planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations while delivering excellent guest service.
