Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities
- Support the Warfighter Requirements Branch and be responsible for understanding and interpreting PPBE-related issues, concerns, and decisions as related to IAMD and capability-based planning.
- Familiarity with the Joint Staff and subject matter pertaining to the requirements in identifying, generating, evaluating, developing, refining, and validating IAMD operational requirements.
- Work with combatant commands, military service, or the participate in Department-wide President's Budget Request (PBR) development and provide recommendations to JIAMDO Government personnel on matters requiring a Joint Staff position for advocacy
- Track progress of items of interest in President's Budget through Congressional authorization and appropriation processes, as well as congressionally initiated statutory and report requirements affecting IAMD.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree.
- At least ten (10) years of professional experience within IAMD or a related area, a minimum of five (5) of which include supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ.
- Security clearance: Active TS, SCI and SAP eligible.
- US Citizenship required.
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $170,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
