Consultant OBGYN - Menopause Management (British) - Dubai

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist with a focus on Menopause Management to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive women’s health services, with particular expertise in the assessment and management of perimenopause, menopause, and related midlife health concerns.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive consultations and clinical care in Obstetrics & Gynecology, with a special focus on menopause and perimenopause.Assess and manage common menopausal symptoms including hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disturbances, mood changes, vaginal symptoms, and sexual health concerns.Provide individualized menopausal hormone therapy (MHT/HRT) when clinically appropriate, including assessment of benefits, risks, contraindications, and treatment options.Manage non-hormonal treatment options for menopausal symptoms.Counsel patients regarding healthy aging, nutrition, exercise, bone health, cardiovascular health, and overall wellbeing.Assess and manage genitourinary syndrome of menopause and related pelvic health concerns.Provide appropriate screening and preventive women’s healthcare.Evaluate patients with abnormal uterine bleeding and other gynaecological concerns during the perimenopausal and postmenopausal years.Provide individualized contraceptive counselling where appropriate during the perimenopausal period.Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and clinical documentation.Work collaboratively with endocrinologists, breast specialists, pelvic health specialists, primary care physicians, and other multidisciplinary teams when required.Ensure compliance with Dubai health authority regulations, clinical guidelines, and patient-safety standards.Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.RequirementsMBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.Relevant experience as a Consultant OBGYN.Demonstrated clinical experience and interest in menopause and midlife women’s health.Experience in menopause hormone therapy and non-hormonal management options.Valid DHA License – Dubai is required.Strong knowledge of evidence-based menopause management and general gynaecological care.Excellent communication and counselling skills, with a patient-centred approach.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based clinical practice.Key CompetenciesMenopause & Perimenopause ManagementMenopausal Hormone TherapyWomen’s Midlife HealthGeneral GynecologyPreventive Women’s HealthcarePatient Counselling & EducationEvidence-Based Clinical PracticeMultidisciplinary CollaborationPatient Safety & Clinical Governance
