Job Description​

Saint Luke's East Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. This role requires availability to work Saturday and Sunday on a consistent basis.

Position: Registered Nurse – CVRU
Schedule: WWP, Every Saturday and Sunday - 7a - 7p. Work 24 hours, get paid for 36 hours.

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Patient Population & Clinical Focus

The RN will care for patients with, but not limited to:

• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)

• Pacemaker placement

• Peripheral vascular procedures

• Interventional radiology (IR) procedures

• Respiratory failure

• DKA/insulin drips

• Post–STEMI recovery

• Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses

  Shift Details: Weekend Work Program- Days. Must work every Saturday & Sunday- work 2 shifts, get paid for 3!

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
