In-Cab Technology Integration: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to dashcams, Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), RFID readers, and mobile device integration.
Stakeholder Support & Training: Assist drivers, dispatchers, fleet managers, and safety personnel with platform inquiries to optimize daily business operations, maintain safety standards, and develop user training resources.
Proactive Monitoring & Incident Management: Systematically track device health to identify offline or malfunctioning telematics units across platforms; log and manage incident tickets using ServiceNow while coordinating vendor escalations.
Testing & Deployment: Lead validation, UAT testing, and rollout support for software updates, firmware revisions, and new hardware deployments across supported fleet tech stacks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated technical support or application support experience in fleet telematics, commercial fleet technologies, or in-cab systems.
Core Telematics Expertise: Deep hands-on experience supporting Geotab (MyGeotab platform & GO hardware) and Fleet Complete ecosystems.
Camera Systems Expertise: Proven experience troubleshooting video safety solutions, specifically Lytx in-cab camera systems and Go Focus Plus hardware.
Hardware & Standards Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of commercial fleet hardware, including ELD compliance regulations, ADAS, dashcams, and mobile OS integration.
Service Management & Tools: Proficiency with ServiceNow (or equivalent ITSM ticketing tools) for incident, request, and knowledge base management; basic MS SQL querying skills are considered an asset.
Communication & Mobility: Strong diagnostic abilities with the skill to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical operational teams. Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel up to 30% across Canada and the US.
