About the Role
At Covenant Case Management Services, we believe everyone was created to thrive with purpose. We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in King, NC.
In this fulfilling role, you will provide Community Living Support and Respite services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). You will have the rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships, support client independence, and help those we serve actively participate in their local community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Compassionate Care: Support clients during scheduled hours with daily routines, life skills, and personal goals.
Promote Community Engagement: Encourage and accompany clients on outings, recreational events, and local activities.
Prioritize Safety: Ensure a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment both at home and in community settings.
Provide Respite Care: Offer reliable support as needed to assist clients and their families.
Schedule & Location
Schedule: 40-55 hours weekly (flexible scheduling based on your availability; respite care as needed)
Type: Contract (1099)
Location: King, NC
Qualifications
Experience: Background or experience supporting autistic individuals is required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
Background Check: Successful completion of a standard background check is mandatory.
Certifications: CPR / First Aid certification is a strong plus.
