ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Functions:
- Clear conflicts check for confidentiality agreements
- Draft form confidentiality agreements
- Draft form listing agreements
- Track assets and maintain spreadsheets.
- Data entry into property list, smartsheet and/or origami
- Document abstracting
- Upload final documents into FileStar
- Organize and track red zone notices
- Request legal documents and closing documents
- Maintain organized copies of legal documents
- Strong MS Office Suite skills for creation/editing of general legal related documents
- Editing/Drafting routine Legal Documents (create first draft, edits, or research)
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Three to four years of experience with a law firm or similar in-house position working as a legal coordinator or assistant on real estate transactions. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Must have strong communication, counseling and problem-solving skills. Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required. Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
