Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour + commission.
Job Type: Full-time.
Schedule: 40 Hours + On-call.
Location: Las Vegas, NV.
About the Position
Ewing Bros Inc. is looking for a dependable Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our towing and recovery team. This position is responsible for responding to heavy-duty towing and recovery calls and safely transporting or recovering vehicles and equipment.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in safe equipment operation, professional customer service, and getting the job done correctly.
What You'll Do:
- Operate assigned heavy-duty tow and recovery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform heavy-duty towing and vehicle recovery services.
- Respond to accident scenes, breakdowns, and other recovery calls.
- Tow and recover commercial and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment as assigned.
- Perform winching, loading, securing, and recovery operations using the appropriate equipment.
- Inspect towing and recovery equipment before use and report any safety or mechanical concerns.
- Follow company safety procedures and proper towing/recovery techniques.
- Communicate professionally with customers, law enforcement, repair facilities, and dispatch.
- Complete required service documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Protect customer vehicles and property throughout each towing or recovery operation.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent Ewing Bros Inc. positively in the field.
- Perform other towing and recovery duties as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous heavy-duty towing, recovery, commercial driving, or related experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- CDL and/or additional licensing or certifications, if required for assigned equipment.
- Ability to safely operate heavy-duty towing and recovery equipment.
- Strong awareness of vehicle, roadside, and work-zone safety.
- Dependable and responsive when called upon.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently while following company procedures.
- Willingness to work an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
