A General Manager – Service / HVAC Service General Manager / Commercial HVAC Service Manager is required to lead commercial HVAC service operations across Miami-Dade and Broward counties. This role is suited to an experienced HVAC service leader with strong operational, financial and team management skills who can drive service excellence, customer satisfaction and strategic growth within a full-service commercial air conditioning organization.

The General Manager – Service / HVAC Service General Manager / Commercial HVAC Service Manager Role:

• Lead and develop Service Manager, CSR Manager and Service Analyst teams to achieve operational excellence
• Manage full P&L responsibility for the Miami-Dade and Broward service business
• Develop and execute annual operating plans, revenue goals and margin objectives
• Oversee commercial HVAC service, maintenance and repair operations
• Drive improvements in scheduling, labor planning, dispatch coordination, preventive maintenance execution and billing accuracy
• Monitor key business metrics including labor utilization, materials costs, inventory, backlog, DSO, PM compliance and profitability
• Support service growth through customer retention, repair opportunities and maintenance agreement expansion
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial customers and accounts
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits and quarterly business reviews as required
• Champion process improvements, digital tools and workflow modernization
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and leadership teams to strengthen service processes and business growth
• Identify market opportunities, customer needs and emerging service trends

General Manager – Service / HVAC Service General Manager / Commercial HVAC Service Manager Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of commercial HVAC service experience within a mechanical contracting environment
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership and management experience
• Proven experience managing HVAC service operations with P&L accountability
• Strong leadership, coaching and employee development skills
• Experience improving processes and implementing operational best practices
• Excellent communication, customer service and relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software
• Experience with COINS and XOi preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties
• Ability to work full-time on-site with daily interaction across service, dispatch, billing, field leadership and customer teams
