Parking General Manager

A premier 24/7 airport parking and transportation operation is coming near the Mall of America, and they are seeking an entrepreneurial General Manager to launch and lead a brand-new, high-volume facility from the ground up. This unique position offers complete operational ownership, allowing a hands-on leader to build a team, implement processes, and deliver top-tier service for traveling guests. Located in the vibrant Twin Cities metro area, the site is steps away from world-class shopping, dining, entertainment, and major transit hubs, making it an ideal location for an active professional.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, guest experience, and team performance for a high-volume, 24/7 airport shuttle and parking facility.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and lead a dedicated team of drivers and operational staff, fostering a service-oriented culture.
• Manage vehicle fleet readiness, routine maintenance, dispatch efficiency, and driver safety protocols.
• Serve as the primary administrator for reservation, ticketing, payment, and shuttle-tracking software systems.
• Direct local financial controls, including accounts payable, labor scheduling, budgeting, and operating expense tracking.
• Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, security, and equipment readiness, personally stepping in to assist operations or cover shifts during peak travel periods and unexpected staffing gaps.

Position Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of management experience in high-volume hospitality, hotel operations, restaurant management, airport parking, or fast-paced customer service.
• Proven track record of managing hourly employees and creating dependable shift coverage in an environment requiring flexible availability (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Strong independent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive leadership style.
• Working knowledge of basic operational budgeting, expense control, and staff scheduling.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass standard background screening.

Compensation Package Details:

• Base Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
• Annual Performance Bonus: 10% target with up to 15% potential based on guest satisfaction, operational metrics, and financial performance
