MECCA Belconnen - Operations Specialist

We're opening an exciting new MECCA store in Belconnen, ACT, and we're looking for a passionate Operations Specialist to help bring it to life from day one on a permanent, part-time basis for 30 hours per week.

This is your opportunity to be part of building something new — helping establish exceptional operational standards, creating an incredible store environment, and supporting unforgettable customer experiences for a brand-new community.

Our Belconnen store is expected to open in the final quarter of 2026, with onboarding and training commencing ahead of opening.

As an Operations Specialist, you'll play a key role behind the scenes, making sure our store is organised, well-stocked and ready for our customers and team to deliver MECCA magic every day.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Keep the store well-stocked, organised and beautifully presented so our customers always have an exceptional experience

• Complete daily stock maintenance and cyclical stock management processes

• Support the Leadership Team to deliver operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences

• Identify and drive operational activities that contribute to overall store performance

• Help maintain high standards across stockroom organisation, replenishment and store presentation

• Contribute to a safe, organised and positive environment for our team and customers

• You have a strong eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment

• You’re proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to identify what needs to be done and get it done

• You uphold and encourage a strong health and safety culture

Requirement of the role:

• Availability to work across early mornings, late evenings and weekends

• The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to the needs of a brand-new store
